When you add components to the Editor canvas, you cannot interact with them as you would when viewing the design in a browser. Instead, you interact with components by selecting them, dragging them to a new location, configuring properties, and so on.

Testing Designs

To interact with component functionality in the Editor, click the Test button in the toolbar. This mode provides an easy way to test the functionality of your components. For example, you can display navigation submenus, select radio buttons, and display the items in a jump menu.

As shown below, Test Mode provides a convenient way to verify navigation in the Editor.

Running Designs

To see your design outside of the ProtoShare application, or to test the links between pages, click the Run button in the toolbar. This opens your design in a new window.
