Purpose

Draw a box.

Previous versions of ProtoShare contained a specialized Box component. When you drag a “box” from the component palette in the current version, a Text component with box-like styling is created instead. This allows you to easily add text to a box after adding it to the canvas.

If you have used previous versions of ProtoShare, you may have some of these specialized Box components on your designs. You can continue to use them, and they will continue to work as before. Creating new copies of this specialized Box component is not recommended, though.
